How to Care for a Cat Cage to Keep it Durable and Clean

Having a cat as a pet requires extra attention, starting from choosing the type of food to the cleanliness of the cage. This is why it is necessary for you to be aware of the steps to clean a cat cage properly. Not only just giving it food and a place to live, having a pet like a cat at home certainly requires us to pay attention to its health and cleanliness. One of the steps that we must take is to clean the cage regularly so that it does not become a nest of disease. 

1. Clean Hands and Remove Items from the Cage 

The next step to clean the cat cage is to clean your hands, dry them, and use gloves. Then move the items inside the cat cage. Starting from the food and drink area, the toys, and the sandbox.

2. Spray with water

If the remaining dirt has been removed, then you can spray clean water on the cage. This spray method can ensure that remaining dirt will not settle in the cage. Apart from that, you are also required to spray the eating utensils or cat toys that are available inside. If the equipment is really old, it’s best to replace it with a new one so that hygiene is always maintained.

3. Maintaining pet comfort
